The RSBC recognizes the importance of the arts in promoting social
values that support environmental responsibility.
By bringing together artists, environmental groups and the public,
we have increased awareness of sustainability while raising funds for
stewardship activities. Some examples:
- 1997 - Sky, Land, Water, Trees show at the Port Moody Art Gallery.
- Summer 1996 - four local environmental groups led artists through
natural areas they were working to protect.
- September 1996 - the work of more than 20 artists were on display
for a silent auction and fundraiser.
