Go up Batchelor Drive until the end, where the road turns to gravel
and becomes Lac duBois Rd. Continue up Lac duBois Road until just
after the 16 km marker, then turn right. Drive approximately 500
meters, a yellow gate will be to your right and a McQueen Lake sign.
Turn right, into this driveway. The overnight parking lot is 300
meters down this road.
Please arrive at the McQueen Lake Centre by 4:00 pm, Friday. The
entire drive from the base of Batchelor Drive should be about 25

About McQueen Lake Environmental Education Centre The McQueen Lake Environmental Education Centre is located 16.5 km
northwest of Kamloops, B.C. on an easily accessible gravel road. The
Centre is surrounded by mature douglas fir forests, wetlands, and
grasslands, making it one of the richest, most versatile, and
exciting centres of its kind. The facility is one of few in the
province that operates under the jurisdiction of the school district.
Annually, thousands of students have the opportunity to enjoy the
overnight and day-centre facilities, learning in a classroom with no
boundaries and unlimited possibilities.
